Visit the author page of Paula Neal Mooney on Amazon I first wrote about Chris Rock's new movie "Good Hair" waayyy back on August 18, 2007 -- when I first learned about the "good hair" movie based on the Bonner Brothers Hair Show.


So I just read in the Essence magazine with Michelle Obama and her mom on the cover that Chris Rock's Good Hair movie was received very well at Sundance, and that the Good Hair documentary is causing a buzz.


Today I just looked all around Google Video for clips of Chris Rock's Good Hair movie, but all I see thus far are interviews with Chris Rock about Good Hair, but no clips of the actual documentary yet.


Maybe they'll be up soon.


And I don't see the Good Hair DVD yet or downloadable movie yet here on Amazon, but keep checking:

That "Good Hair" movie is going to be a winner -- especially with Chris Rock saying that the documentary will portray what big business weaves and such are.


And Nelson George told Essence that relaxers are so harsh, we shouldn't put them in our little girls hair. I'm glad I stopped doing that and put my girl's hair in braids so it can hopefully grow long and strong and then she can do what she wants with it when she's older.
