So today comes the amazing news that Rosie O'Donnell is leaving The View.

(I just love that Gawker already has the YouTube video of Rosie's announcement about her departure from The View up already.)

Well, I've said that Rosie was a breath of fresh air to The View, but now I'm glad Rosie is leaving The View.

I've prayed and prayed for Elisabeth to catch a break, and it appears today God has answered!

God bless Rosie on whatever she does after her View gig.

Now the scuttlebutt wonders: Was Rosie fired from The View?

Some claim, yes, that it was all a GOP conspiracy to get Rosie fired.

I won't go that far, but I still hope they hire Sherri Shepherd already!

Today I actually called Google for the email address to contact their techie support to find out why my PageRank is so low.

It took a while, but the guy gave me this URL for contacting Google's tech support folks.

It's actually the contact page for Gmail help, but here's hoping and praying they can help me with my low pagerank problemo.

Ever visited a site, tried to leave a comment, but got this weird message:

your_ip_is_blacklisted_by sbl.spamhaus.org

KnowProse.com gives this explanation as to why this might be happening:

When I attempted to post a comment on , I was given the message 'your_ip_is_blacklisted_by sbl.spamhaus.org'. This might a symptom of one of those lazy admins that has blacklisted the entire LACNIC region, thus censoring commentary from an entire continent. I'm getting tired of seeing it and consider it rude. Why not just block me from viewing your site too?

Comment follows:

I think a large part of it is also that so many of these companies missed the first wave of the blogosphere and they are very sensitive about that. The blogosphere started off at about the same size, but now even traditional media (television, newspaper, etc.) quotes weblogs.

So a lot of this is, perhaps, wanting to be able to be in the first wave. The rationalizations around it may simply be rationalizations. To further make it more interesting, it's relatively low cost to experiment with and they can get their demographics into SecondLife on free accounts to 'look at their stuff'.

The value of SL to a business is really a matter of what a business expects from SL. Most of the cultural rifts between newcomers and established SecondLife presences seem to be the manner in which the newcomers try to attract their demographic. Partnerships with in world businesses should probably be discussed and encouraged. ;-)

Not to mention a feedback mechanism for people whose IP ranges are blacklisted. Booyah.

You might want to shoot the webmaster a message -- or, if that's you, check your site to make sure too many people aren't blocked from comments!

As a parent, I get frustrated. I've had some ugly moments.

Alec Baldwin apparently has ugly moments, too, as witnessed in the voicemail message to his daughter circling the net.

I kinda don't blame Kim for keeping Ireland away from him. I pray she is safe from harm in Jesus' holy name.

Do you keep getting that "Required Field Must Not Be Blank" error message when trying to publish your Blogger blog posts?

I did too and it was so annoying and frustrating!

I still get the "Required Field Must Not Be Blank" error message ever since I download Firefox browser.

BUT THANK GOD Sunny Ellis showed me how to fix it by choosing Post Options and making sure my show comments and other fields that I want beneath there are set to allow or disallow, whatever I want, just not blank.

It worked!

The "Required Field Must Not Be Blank" error message went away. God bless Sunny Ellis!

Did an over-eager fan really slap Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles, in this video?

I heard a fan exclaim, "Oh my God, she got slapped in the face!" as the SUV drove away with Beyonce and her mom.



But did Beyonce's mom really get slapped? I watched the video, and can't really tell. I hope not.

I must say I was pretty surprised at this Manufacturing Dissent documentary movie trailer about Michael Moore.

All this time I had viewed Michael Moore as some sort of "everyman" hero since the days of Roger and Me -- now I feel had!

Manufacturing Dissent shows that Michael Moore really spoke with the CEO of General Motors, and just didn't include that interview in his ground-breaking documentary.

Why Can't I Log Into Blogger?

That's the question 655 people asked search engines in February 2007.

I had the same problems logging into Blogger, it would hang and hang and hang both in my IE browser, on AOL and on SBC Yahoo!

Only when I download the free Mozilla Firefox broswer from Google were my Blogger problems resolved.

So to answer your Why Can't I Log Into Blogger? question, the answer is most likely your slower browser. Click here to download Firefox for free:Browse the Web Faster. Get Firefox With Google Toolbar and see if that solves your problems logging on to Blogger.

It solved mine!

I love Mozilla so much, it not only logs me onto Blogger now with no problem, it actually remembers my password and takes me directly to my Blogger dashboard to post a new post without problems!


I gotta tell you all how much I'm lovin' the Mozilla Firefox I finally downloaded the other day.

My sweet hubby wiped our PC clean because the virus attacks had messed it up to the point where I couldn't check my AOL email in certain places, and a bunch of other problems.


I'd heard people talking about Firefox, but being a creature slow to change sometimes, I stuck with my trusty IE and SBC Yahoo browsers.


But after the change, I couldn't even post a blog post! I couldn't see the preview tab, there was all this drama, so I searched around on my friends' blogs to try and find Firefox to download, but I was amazed at how many of them didn't have it listed so I couldn't give them the dollar for it.


Anyhoo, I found the Mozilla Firefox banner on some stranger's blog and downloaded it. I love it!

*** I was able to preview my blog posts and publish them just fine...



*** Mozilla Firefox actually remembers the various passwords that I tell it to, so my workday is a lot more proficient now...

*** I can actually log in to Blogger much faster, right thru my blog, and not by only leaving comments on other Blogger blogs first like I was doing when Blogger would just hang and hang and hang at the login screen..



*** I can check my Google Adsense account a lot faster without that hanging, too...

So, for all these good reasons, I feel especially great to tell everybody to Browse the Web Faster. Get Firefox With Google Toolbar and promote it on your blogs so you can get paid for it!

Richard Gere is back and badder than ever in a movie called The Hoax, about Clifford Irving, a man who lied and said he was writing an autobiography about uber-reclusive Howard Hughes. Clifford Irving was on CBS Sunday Morning this morning talking about The Hoax, and he didn't seem very remorseful about his misdeeds in 1971.

The Hoax is now a movie that Clifford Irving slammed with poetic justice, saying The Hoax bears no resemblance to the truth -- ironic indeed!

Clifford Irving only felt guilty when he saw the trouble he brought upon his wife, who cashed the $750,000 check McGraw-Hill fronted them, and their children.

Irving used part of the money to take his mistress on vacation. Watch The Hoax movie trailer previews here...

On CBS Sunday Morning show today they featured these Stave Puzzles that are pretty and expensive.

But the Stave Puzzles look so interesting and thick and quizzical, I wouldn't mind investing in a few Stave Puzzles to play with my kids.

All except that April Fool's Day Stave Puzzle that was created that couldn't be solved.



The Stave Puzzle owner said he took that one off the market and gave all the customers who bought that infuriating Stave Puzzle off the market.
